# What is Recursive Robots

Recursive Robots is an 10K experimental recursive Ordinal collection exploring the possibilities that Recursive Ordinals bring within a free mint experience. Robots are fully customizable and you can also acquire upgraded traits by inscribing on rare sats. All using our recursive forge to facilitate the minting experience fully on-chain (yes – really). Our goal here was to create some valuable food for thought, have some fun, educate, and push the boundaries in the playground of recursion now available to us.
**This is by no means a perfect approach, as with everything Ordinals we expect consistent evolution, but it’s certainly a step in the right direction.**
